Our aim at Valley End Infant School is to help children develop a positive attitude towards sport, exercise and active, healthy lifestyles. We aim to provide enjoyable physical experiences that will enthuse and inspire pupils to engage in different sport and exercise and develop the skills and knowledge to significantly impact upon their lifestyles and physical wellbeing.

The Primary School PE and Sports Funding has been allocated to all schools to improve the provision of PE and Sport, to develop teacher subject knowledge, increase participation levels and enable children to live healthy and active lifestyles. Schools are free to spend the Primary School PE and Sports Funding to ensure the best impact on children’s participation in PE and sport. We publish the expenditure and the difference it has made so that parents and carers know how this valuable funding has been spent.
